City of Fairfax Schools serves City students through a long-standing partnership with Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS). As a result, the largest portion of the City of Fairfax Schools budget reflects FCPS tuition for educating City students.

Within the FY 2027 budget, $285,000 in School Supplemental & Instructional Funds goes directly to schools to support students and learning.
