FHS provides a broad and challenging curriculum tailored to the needs of a diverse student body. Offerings include Advanced Placement courses, honors programs in all academic areas, seven world languages, internship opportunities, on-site vocational training, and an extensive range of fine and performing arts. Specialized programs support English language learners and students with disabilities, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to succeed. At FHS, we believe all students can learn and achieve high standards. To support this mission, our instructional schedule includes dedicated time for additional academic assistance.

Our goal is to prepare students to graduate as creative and critical thinkers who can communicate and collaborate effectively in a global society. These skills empower graduates to pursue a variety of pathways in college, careers, or other endeavors.

Approximately 90% of our students continue their education at post-secondary institutions. We emphasize a "whole student" approach, prioritizing wellness and comprehensive development. Our RAMP-certified school counselors and Student Services team provide academic guidance, socio-emotional support, and college and career advising throughout grades 9–12.

Beyond academics, our Student Activities office fosters a vibrant school community through a wide range of athletic programs and extracurricular clubs. These activities help students explore their talents, develop leadership skills, and strengthen their connection to the FHS community.
