Fairfax HS Family Festival

Each fall, City of Fairfax Schools families gather for the Fairfax High School Family Festival—a fun, come-one-come-all community event held before a Fairfax High School home football game. Sponsored by the City of Fairfax Schools, it’s designed to help our elementary students feel connected to the “big kids” at Fairfax High School through games, activities, and lots of friendly faces.

The festival features student clubs and teams hosting tables, with plenty of hands-on activities and treats. It’s a great chance for elementary families to meet Fairfax HS students, explore what makes our high school special, and kick off the evening with some school spirit.

The 2026 date will be announced soon—check back for details.

Good to know: The festival is free, but attendance at the football game requires a ticket.

What to Expect
  • Club and team activity tables (games, crafts, and more)
  • Family-friendly fun and school spirit
  • A chance for elementary students to interact with Fairfax HS students and feel part of the pyramid
