All Schools:
- Facilities Condition Assessment - In the summer and fall of 2023, the City of Fairfax contracted to have a Facilities Condition Assessment, a report of the status of all school facilities. To see the report, please see our website.
Fairfax High School:
1. Concession Stand (outdoor)
Completed October 2024.
2. FHS Press Box
The new press box is slated to be installed in 2025. The temporary press box is in place and in use.

FHS Weightroom floor fix completed 2024.

4. FHS AutoTech Room
New lighting installed in September 2024. New flooring is slated to be installed in the summer of 2025.
5. Fields (Turf and Lighting)
Turf fields complete March 2024 - new turf fields installed for the band/practice field and baseball field. New gate was installed in June 2024.
6. Stadium
ADA Renovations - railings and steps have been installed, September 2023.
New Scoreboard - City of Fairfax is working with FHS for new scoreboard - summer 2025.

7. HVAC Units
13 HVAC units replaced in the FHS field house in the summer 2024.
Katherine Johnson MS
1. Kutner Park Turf Field (joint project with City of Fairfax Parks and Recreation)
This project is currently under the City of Fairfax city council and parks and recreation department.
2. KJMS Security Vestibule
Work in underway and is on target to be finished before January 2025.

3. Weight Room/Fitness Room
March 2024 - Installation of new flooring, new exercise equipment, and repair of current fitness equipment to assist in the switching of the current weight room and fitness room.

4. KJMS Outdoor Classroom
Upon contract approval, the project is expected to start late October – early November. Project substantial completion is expected in early 2025.
