Three FHS Students Earn Washington Post All-Met Honors

Three Fairfax HS students were recognized as some of the best student-athletes in the DC area by the Washington Post

Lorenzo Pellot-Vazquez was named to the second team All-Met in wrestling. Lorenzo was the Virginia state champion in the 190lb division. He was one of the FHS leaders in winning the district championship for the first time since 1998.

Sophie Scadron was named as honorable mention All-Met in swimming. Sophie was the Virginia state champion in the 100 fly and set a school record.

Margad Choijilsuren was also named as honorable mention in boys basketball. This is the second year Margad was named All-Met. Margad was one of only eight players in the state to be named to the VHSL first team all-state. He was also named as the district player of the year and first team all-region.

The three athletes join seven other FHS students recognized this past fall as All-Met players of the year.
