Seventeen Fairfax HS DECA Students Win Awards at Virginia DECA Conference, Earn Trip to International Conference

A total of 15 students from Fairfax High School were recognized as competitive event winners at the Virginia DECA State Leadership Conference held in Virginia Beach March 3-5. These students earned the right to compete at the DECA International Career Development Conference April 22-25.

Shyla Menon of Fairfax High School was elected as vice president of  Region 2.

DECA is a career and technical student organization that prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs to be college- and career-ready.
