Fairfax Academy Dancers present A Place to Turn

The Fairfax Academy Dancers will present A Place to Turn,on February 13th at 6:00pm in the Fairfax High School Auditorium, featuring students from the Academy Dance program, alumni, and many other performers/groups from the community.

The Fairfax Academy for Communications and the Arts is proud to bring A Place to Turn, a dance benefit concert, to Fairfax High School for the third year. A Place to Turn will benefit the charity National Alliance on Mental Illness of Northern Virginia.

No tickets are needed and donations will be accepted to benefit the charity. All proceeds will go directly to NAMI of Northern VA.

We are so excited to use the power of dance to bring awareness to mental health and safety. We join and agree with NAMI’s vision to have a world where everyone affected by a mental health condition has a place to turn for help, hope, and support.

Fairfax Academy dancers will be joined by a number of community groups such as, Xuejuan Dance Ensemble, C4 Performing Arts, Manassas Youth Ballet, Helping Hearts Through the Arts, Local Motion Project, Rhythm and Arts Center, FireHouse, and the West Potomac Academy Dance program.
