Despite the cold with a friendly smile under her mask, City of Fairfax school board member Toby Sorensen joined City of Fairfax employees on Saturday to collect food for the Stuff the Bus campaign. Over two weekends, the City of Fairfax collected 4895 pounds of food which will be donated to a number of local food banks and charities.
Two familiar faces were in the number of community members donating food; Dr. Mitch Sutterfield, school board member and Dr. Phyllis Pajardo, Superintendent of the City of Fairfax Schools donated bags of nonperishable food for the cause.
